We've added a new addition to the web page called "Free Songs, Mixes, and Artwork" over on the main menu. The title says it all really, plenty of free songs up there of various genres. we'll be getting together some wallpapers soon :) .

april was busy with goodluck/badluck. a few new tunes were written ("feel better" and "hush"  by badmammal and "nation" by messenger) and we began to put together the first installment of our "EILC Radio" podcast. "feel better" can be found in the badmammal "SF" folder and "Nation" can be found in the messenger folder.

also, Chris Matule's "projects and releases " section was updated with some video and audio examples including the badmammal remix of Sub Division's "Blue Boy" which made an appearance in the 2007 Cannes Film Festival Palme D'or winning short film "Ver Llover " or "Watching it Rain" (english festival title)

If you're anywhere near the Bay Area you don't want to miss Ian Svenonius this Tuesday, March 20th, at Adobe Books and The Hemlock in San Francisco.

Mr. Svenonius, presently of Weird War and formerly of The Make-Up and Nation of Ulysses, will be reading from his new book The Psychic Soviet (2006, Drag City Press) at 7:00 p.m. at Adobe Books (3166 16th Street between Valencia and Guerrero).

This will almost assuredly be the most interesting book reading you've ever attended. To get an idea you should check out Ian's new TV show, Soft Focus, shot at the Guggenheim in New York and featuring guests like Genesis P-Orridge, Ian Mackaye, Henry Rollins, Will Oldham, Chan Marshall (of Cat Power), and Andrew WK. Yeah. Probably watch Genesis first.

What, indeed, is to be done?

Plus, at 9:00 p.m. he'll be spinning records at The Hemlock with Selector Dub Narcotic.
